Fake tan can affect your skin texture, making it difficult for the stencil to stick properly. Please scrub the area as thoroughly as possible or avoid applying tan altogether before your appointment.

Loose-fitting, comfortable clothing is best. Consider where the tattoo will be placed and wear something that allows easy access to that area. For example:

• For a sternum tattoo, wear a button-up shirt or a loose t-shirt that can be tied up.

• For a spine tattoo, a backless shirt is ideal, and avoid wearing a bra.
